At the September meeting the following was discussed
– The Parish Council agreed to spend some of the Community Infrastructure funds on the updating of Neighbourhood Development Plan to ensure the Parish Council is protected as much as possible.
– The Parish Council would like to hear from residents on their thoughts on what the Community Infrastructure Funds received could be spent on. There are some restrictions on what the funds can be sued for, but they can be used for infrastructure projects such as roads, paths, parking improvements, community facilities- e.g. village halls, play areas open spaces, Cultural and recreational projects, environment improvements or addressing the local impacts of development, e.g. traffic calming.

– The planning in principle application for 9 dwellings on the Causeway has been refused, full details are available on the Borough Council planning portal
– The Parish Council welcomed a new Parish Councillor to the Council in Septembers meeting, There are now 3 remaining vacancies on the
Parish Council. Councillors are keen to get some more Councillors on the Council and if you are interested in joining please contact the Clerk on clerk@carltonwithchellington-pc.gov.uk
