At the May meeting there was an update from the Village Hall committee on the matter of the lease with the School and Diocese. They also advised they are looking for volunteers to assist with the committee. Should you feel you can help by becoming a committee member please contact the Village Hall.
The Parish Council is in the process of trying to organise a Village litter pick. Once dates have been agreed further publicity will take place.
Please can residents who have trees and bushes overhanging footpaths cut them back as its making footpath use difficult- particularly the path between Rectory Close and the High Street.
Following the recent elections there are currently 3 vacancies on the Parish Council. If you have an active interest in your local community, and want to represent local people, working in partnership with others, then sitting on the Parish Council maybe the role for you.
The Parish Council meets on the second Monday of each month, except August and February at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.
