At the December meeting the following was discussed
– Speed signs are now working and Council is looking to collate data with a view to a further discussion in March. Recent speed data on The Causeway shows the majority travelling within the limit, but there are still some occasions of cars travelling at 40 past the play area which is very disappointing.
– There are currently three vacancies on the Parish Council. If you are interested in becoming a Parish Councillor please contact the Clerk on clerk@carltonwithchellington-pc.gov.uk
– Council is arranging for Christmas lights to be placed along the hedge near the Memorial
– Council have agreed to use CiL funds to make improvements on the play area- The Charity will now look to move some tables around, install a new kickboard near the football nets and provide a further pergola seating area.
– Please report potholes and blocked drains direct to the council via the Borough
