Message from Engineering Services at Bedford Borough Council
Further to previous correspondence regarding the surface dressing programme, due to various weather delays and plant breakdowns the works have required reprogramming. Please see below revised dates for the works to be undertaken:
Felmersham Rd – Road Closed 06/08/26 for 3 weekdays. 08:00 to 18:00
Advance boards will be erected on site to reflect the latest information shortly. We apologies for the inconvenience caused here, but please be assured it is crucial these works are undertaken under the best conditions possible to ensure the finished result is to the correct standard.
Following the works, a speed limit reduction will be in place. Within 2 weeks of surface dressing our contractor will return to undertake final sweep and lining. This will be carried out under mobile works to limit disruption on the network.
